In Union County there is an absence of certified preschool programs/childcare. With the help of SEI READI funding, Lil Patriots Preschool/childcare will be provided by and within the local school district in Union County. The school/childcare makes for a convenient solution to working parents while giving young children the opportunity to grow and learn.

In the first year, one classroom of 20 children will be established. The goal is to expand the program by age and location in the following years. The SEI READI award will assist with the starting capital as well as related expenses that will surround the program- before and after care, transportation, new playground, etc.

The project started in the 2022-2023 school year.
